Started out pretty well and hung onto the pack for the first 2 miles. Splits were about 4:55 then 10:15. Then in the third mile the pack started surging and I went with it for about 100 meters and dropped, can't remember exactly when I fell off but I'm pretty sure it was less than 3 miles in. I'd guess I hit 3 miles in around 15:50 (+/-) and 5k in ~16:30. The last mile was tough (and slow) and I was dragging myself to the finish.
